No one wants to drink, cook, swim or bathe in the toxins that drip from vehicles onto streets and then wash into the gutters; the same goes for silt and sediment. Yet these pollutants eventually flow into our streams and rivers. Silt clogs the gills of fish and nutrients flowing into waterways cause things to grow, taking up all the oxygen....
