Priorities are changing. Areas that weren’t that important a few years ago are now becoming priorities. Controlling stormwater runoff is one that has taken a front-row position. Maybe it’s the strong arm of the EPA, but whatever it is, it will make us more aware of being eco-green sustainable and environmentally compliant....

For instance, the other day I brought my car in for servicing. At the service center, they told me they would call me within the hour to tell me what was wrong. Two-and-a-half hours later, I had to call them. Then they told me it should take about two hours to repair, and that they would call me when it was ready....

In many ways, we are fortunate that, in our chosen profession, we are able to help people when certain disasters occur: the tornadoes in Missouri, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Georgia, the flooding in Louisiana, the snows in the northeastern part of the country, the rain in California, and the snow in Colorado....
