Grants Awarded for Stormwater Management Programs

Eleven neighborhood associations and non-profits in Lexington, Kentucky, have been awarded more than $400,000 in grants to implement stormwater projects. The grants, funded by the Water Quality Management Fee, are split into two categories: stormwater neighborhood grants and stormwater education grants.

The stormwater neighborhood grants are meant to fund projects that will directly impact water quality; the Stormwater Educational Grants will be used to promote water-friendly fertilizing practices.
