MS4 Compliance Checks

Moore Township is the first regional site to be checked by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for MS4 compliance of its separate municipal storm sewer systems. Infractions found during the check include the township not having a complaint tracking system for illicit discharges, a need to establish sewer sheds, and failing to submit annual progress reports for the past three years. The DEP requires those reports within thirty days.
