2010 Regional Expo

The IAHP’s 2010 Regional Expo will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, 2735 Crittenden Drive, Louisville, Kentucky, on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. The hospitality room format will provide tabletop displays for green industry suppliers and manufacturers to promote their products and interact with contractors.

The intention is for contractors, manufacturers and suppliers to meet in a social setting and discuss the challenges and best practices of the hydroseeding industry. This networking opportunity is open to all contractors, suppliers and manufacturers in the industry as well as those who are considering the addition of hydroseeding services to their businesses.

The Hilton Garden Inn is adjacent to the Kentucky Exposition Center where the 2010 GIE Expo will be held October 28–30, 2010. Those attending the show are invited to relax afterwards on the patio at the Hilton Garden Inn and compare notes over provided food and beverages.

Display tables will be provided free of charge to IAHP member suppliers and manufacturers.

The IAHP’s new website is under development and will be launched later this year. The new website will feature areas of interest for contractors, suppliers and users of hydroseeding services.

IAHP is dedicated to promoting relationships among industry experts and those who are new to the industry. Education and information are a top priority. The IAHP’s HydroSeeding Support forum is available to all industry participants. The forum currently boasts 29122 posts in 4291 topics by 881 participants.

This is an outstanding business resource for contractors and suppliers alike. It offers the opportunity to interact in real time with multiple participants. The forum is also open to users of hydroseeding services both residential and commercial. Those who seek to know what hydroseeding is, how it works, solutions to challenges, best practices, the newest and best products and a plethora of other information can find answers or post a question on the forum. Contractors, suppliers and manufacturers are encouraged to engage in the discussions. You’ll find the HydroSeeding Support forum at www.hydroseeding.org/ forum.

IAHP contractor members also generate a large portion of their business from their online listings at www.HydroSeedingExpe rts.com. Contractors are listed by state and IAHP members are designated by the IAHP logo. Contact information includes the business name, contact person, phone number, an email link and a link to the respective contractor’s website. IAHP 2010 Elections

The IAHP election of 2011 Officers and Directors will begin October 28, 2010 and continue through November. Ballots will be distributed to members attending the Louisville regional expo and emailed to the remaining members on November 1. Completed ballots must be submitted by November 30.

Members should watch their email for voting instructions.

Certified Hydroseeding Professional

The 2011 CHP online seminar schedule is currently under development and will be available in November. The IAHP is partnering with Profile Products to produce multiple seminars. Manufacturers and suppliers who wish to present seminars should contact the IAHP at hydroseedingassoc@yahoo.com.
